Semburi is one of the ecological relocation settlements for residents from extremely high-altitude areas of southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region. Most of the residents here have relocated from the Changtang Grassland at an altitude of 5,000 meters to the Yarlung Zangbo River Valley at an altitude of about 3,600 meters. They live in new houses, have new jobs, and earn a stable income here.
